How it works
- Swiadczenie wynosi 800 zl na miesiac na kazde uprawnione dziecko (od 1 stycznia 2024 r., podniesione z 500 zl). / The benefit is 800 PLN per month for each eligible child (since 1 January 2024, raised from 500 PLN).
- Przysluguje na dziecko od urodzenia do ukonczenia 18 lat; wyplata konczy sie w miesiacu 18. urodzin. / It is paid for a child from birth until the 18th birthday; payment ends in the month the child turns 18.
- Nie obowiazuje kryterium dochodowe - swiadczenie jest powszechne. / There is no income threshold; the benefit is universal.
- Laczna kwota roczna = 800 zl x liczba dzieci x 12 miesiecy. / The annual total = 800 PLN x number of children x 12 months.
Worked example
Rodzina z dwojgiem dzieci ponizej 18 lat / A family with two children under 18 otrzymuje 2 x 800 zl = 1 600 zl miesiecznie, czyli 19 200 zl rocznie. / receives 2 x 800 PLN = 1,600 PLN per month, which is 19,200 PLN per year.

Swiadczenie obsluguje ZUS i wyplaca je wylacznie elektronicznie. Wniosek na okres swiadczeniowy (od czerwca) sklada sie miedzy 1 lutego a 30 czerwca, aby otrzymac wyplate od poczatku okresu. / The benefit is administered by ZUS and paid only electronically. The application for the benefit period (starting in June) is submitted between 1 February and 30 June to receive payment from the start of the period.
